My friend gathered a collection of these over 150 when he went on his mission. I gathered a group of ways to say no to salesman. The Japanese make all their coffee mugs say something with strange Engrish. The L's of course become r's so it can make for some hilarious stuff. Haha, these are awesome! Reminds me of living in Japan! One of my favorite signs there was for a hotel called "Come On My House". Umm, think I'll pass, thanks!
I also like that e-mailed list of English-language signs in Asia that circulates every now and then... gems include the sign at the cleaner's that reads "Ladies, leave your clothes here and spend the rest of the day having a good time." Or the sign at the mosque that reads "It is forbidden to enter a woman in the prayer room." Joyce
hilarious! i've got two entries that might be of interest to you guys: http://flipland2.blogspot.com/2008/04/funny-signs.html and http://flipland2.blogspot.com/2007/12/pic-of-day.html enjoy!
