These are great pictures. They help prove the theory that sometimes real life is better than fiction.
These are great! I'm going to add them to my new website: www.carlwashisadork.com! Should be a hoot!
amen, Doctor G. quit your barking, everyone. If you don't like it, do something about it. I have been shooting weddings for 15 years. Can I control everything that happens to all my images? Of course I can't. I have better things to do than sit around and boo-hoo over it. A Boston news channel once did a segment on destination weddings featuring a wedding I shot in the Bahmas. A whole bunch of my images were shown on t.v.as they interviewed the couple. Sandals got a plug, the travel agent who planned their wedding got a plug. The groom asked the news channel if they could mention his photographer they said no. why? I'm still not sure but I was happy to see my work on t.v. I don't have time to cry over it or to pursue something legal. My work is to be enjoyed by others, to be shared. That is why I am a photographer. It's not all about ME. My couple was happy they were shown on tv, so I was satisfied with that. life's too short.
According to the “Digital Millennium Act” the site is not liable for activities of its members. This is the ISP exception i.e. service providers (in this case providers of a publishing vehicle) are not responsible for checking possible copyright infringements of all the content being published on their site. If a formal infringement notice is served, the site is obligated to take the content down, but the burden of policing this is not on the site. User’s comments do not constitute a formal infringement notice. If you guys feel that the content infringes your copyright, you should contact the site with an infringement notice.
It feels good to write.
