Deep thoughts, Mr Roddey. You write,"Did God create man, or did Man create a god and organized religion to prey upon human fears and superstitions, all in order to reap monetary gains from, and to control the plebian poor and nere’ to dos’. I think man created God.We needed a hero. We needed an ideal to aspire too. We needed someone to blame, forgive us, or hand off responsibility. God is its own industry! In the film, What the Bleep do we Know, they talk about meta-physics & the 'observer" within us. I think whatever that observer is, connects us to that other spirit world from whence we came and soon return. Our bodies are only rentals to experience this amazing planet. The observer is the soul and consciousness within. Unique and with its own purpose, I don't think there is a force ,(God) that controls it. Maybe God is infinite, but Earth isnt. We need more real estate.
It feels good to write.
