Blame

That’s right. Blame it on the rat!

Recently, on Yahoo! News, there was an article posted by a responsible journalist that stated that the less than illustrious Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA stated that the tragic collapse of a levee in Missouri was due to a ‘water burrowing rodent’ … specifically a muskrat.

To Wit: Holes were found behind sandbags that were undoubtedly made by a muskrat, they further stated that the water rushing through said holes turned the dike to mush. This is an issue that must be questioned.

If the holes were found behind, said sandbags as stated, then in all logic how could the water be rushing through said holes? Something to make you go hmmm.

Furthermore, how could water rushing through said holes cause the levee to turn to mush if they were behind said sandbags? Another thing to make you go, hmmm.

Friends and neighbors let us consider the lowly muskrat. Incapable of intelligible human speech it can neither defend itself nor deny culpability in said levee collapse, it also lacks the monetary funds to hire a skilled spin doctor to protect it’s good name. Furthermore, this lowly small rodent has been persecuted for centuries. Shot on land and in the water by countless little urchins honing their less than perfect skills as marksmen. Trapped underwater and left to drown, then hauled out and skinned for their mangy little hides that brought less than desired monetary funds.

Friends and neighbors, now let us consider FEMA and The Army Corps of Engineers, they are governmental agencies, and every citizen in this country knows that the government lies, that is a forgone conclusion.

To Wit: Heads rolled after the New Orleans debacle amid all of the blame laying.
