I started on the internet searching how a patent first got started in U.S.A. I read several articles and was really interested in the history. Then went USPTO to find an Attorney firm, somehow I got so excited type in my zip code wrong or something got call from, Todd North from Starkweather who helped me get a patent search going. My husband was thinking it might be a scam, but I kept working on faith and guidance from God.
Several times people can you trust the firm with your idea, I said yes, checked out several website, checked addresses out, called telephone companies, ask Todd for their register number some kind number for verification because my husband kept saying are you sure about this attorney. For instance say, lots of attorneys steal ideas from people. Something happened in Chicago like that, they tried to take away this guy’s idea and he found out, went and shot the attorney. I think it’s about something to do with a toilet don’t quote me on this. So just to reassure my husband and co-worker checked out Todd and the firm. I have work hard and several months on this with no sleep just keep waking up with other opportunities to get me here.
I was like asking everyone I met or knew how I get a prototype built, my husband help at first but could not finish it. Now on my own connecting with a lot of people. I called about how run table saw, several men tell me that dangerous. That table saw scared me especially the noise. I ask Amish business man was ready but the wife step in said, no. He was excited about the whole concept and sign disclosure and everything. Then a co-worker, Mark Allen gave me a phone to contact number someone to help me out. It was someone from the past years ago, who I knew was a really good professional business man, Dennis Cripe already had established several businesses. I was so excited especially knowing the person and trusting him. Dennis has CNC machine who makes custom garage doors. Explained what my purpose behind creating this product. Start cutting out proto-types and adding new features. Jim is manager help out doing the cuts outs teaching me some short cuts on bob-cad. Jim advises me to go tell the world and sell it. I do feel blessed in many ways about this already.
