Bourbon Slushy

By: Benji McSimmons (View Profile)

7 cups water

3 cups bourbon whiskey

12 oz frozen lemonade concentrate

12 oz frozen orange juice concentrate

¾ cup sugar

2 cups strong black tea

Mix all ingredients a day ahead inside large Tupperware container and place in freezer. When ready to serve, take out of freezer and grab fork. Scrap like hell on the huge, icy block of bourbon goodness. As you scrap, you’ll begin to accumulate a nice pile of shaved ice. Use a massive ladle and scoop the shaved ice into your favorite boozin’ glass. Eat/Drink as is or add another shot of bourbon and a little water to take the fun up a few notches.

Just a little gift tip...I have a Bourbon loving friend so I wrote this and a few other spunky recipes on cute little waterproof/vomitproof cards and tied them to a bottle of MakersMark. BIG HIT. Thanks, Benji.
