Amaretto Chicken Strips

Well, I don’t know about you, but I like a whole helluva alotta finger foods with a zing. The unusual to the spicy, as long as I can grab it and bite it without utensils. For all of you, here’s a zinger!

Amaretto Chicken Strips

Four boneless raw chicken breasts (cut in 2-ounce strips)

One small bowl Amaretto egg wash (4 ounces Amaretto liqueur/two eggs mixed)

One small bowl seasoned flour (seasoned with salt and pepper to taste)

One small bowl Italian seasoned fine bread crumbs

One large Fry Daddy deep fryer or 4-quart cast iron pot

1 quart vegetable oil

Procedure:

1.  Roll chicken strips in seasoned flour, dip in Amaretto egg wash thoroughly, then coat in Italian seasoned bread crumbs completely.

2.  Deep fry chicken strips for five minutes, in pre-heated 375-degree veggy cooking oil, till medium golden brown … they’ll be good and crispy.

3.  When done, serve as is, enjoying the unique almond liqueur flavor, or with a side of your favorite dipping sauce. Either way, your taste buds are in for a treat.
