Alison currently works at The Children's Aid Society in New York as the Manager of Annual Giving. For seven years she worked at Bank Street College of Education as the Assistant Director of Alumni Development. She has also worked for the New York Philharmonic as the Director of Individual Giving and served as the Literacy Assistance Center's Interim Director of the New York City Professional Development Consortium. She started her career in the not for profit world working for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Ashley Cecil

Ashley's work is the marriage of painting and social activism. At an early age, she discovered that her mom's Chanel lipstick made a great oil pastel and she's been creating art ever since. Through formal art education and years of professional experience, the adult version of this vocation has evolved into its own job title, "painting journalist," which plays out on her blog. Ivette Ricco

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Ivette was the second of four daughters born to Haydee and Luis Fuentes. Ivette married her childhood sweetheart and in 1969, she, along with her husband Mike, and her daughter Cindy, relocated to the Bay Area. Having held the positions of Branch Manager, National Director for Student Loan Collections, Assistant Vice President and Vice President for Operations, Ivette began to feel a need to challenge herself. Lindsay Ferrier

Lindsay Ferrier is a mom/step mom to 16, 13 and 2-year-old girls and has a boy due in March of 2007. Lisa Nastasi

Dr. Lisa Nastasi received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2000 from the Gordon Derner Institue at Adelphi University. Dr. Nastasi trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the University of Massachusetts's Medical School. She co-developed the Mindfulness Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital where she was on the voluntary faculty as a Clinical Instructor of Psychology in Psychiatry and has taught Mindfulness workshops to both non-profit organizations and corporations in New York City.
