A question to the parents of new borns and toddlers:  How many times have you been in a situation where the crying and fidgeting of your children is constant, while you were talking on the phone, running errands, attending social outings, or simply trying to get the little one to sleep?

You don't have to answer.  If you can count the number of times on one hand, you better be giving parental seminars to the rest of us.

But here's a helpful tool:  I've discovered a very simple, yet effective product that is making my life easier on an every day basis: Dr. Bloom's Chewable Jewels.  Chewable Jewels are marketed as teething jewelry.  Meaning, they are designed and approved  for a teething baby to chew on, and they are fashionable to wear for the mother or caregiver using them...

...but, Chewable Jewels are much more than teethers, and their market is much more than babies and toddlers.

I have friends in the healthcare business, primarily I'm talking about physical & occupational therapy, that saw one the Chewable Jewel necklaces on my wife's neck at a social gathering.  They were fascinated how our ten month old was entranced and contently chewing and playing with the pendant.  Their interest was how the Chewable Jewels were the right sizes, shapes, and durometer to help develop and promote the motor skills of many of their cliental.  These therapists have even recommended parents of older autistic children to use Chewable Jewels as fidget tools. Needless to say, Chewable Jewels are a now a highly recommended tool in their everyday work programs.

On the pratical gift side, Chewable Jewels are great for baby showers.  Any time my wife shows up with one, it's a for sure hit.  It's a gift you can feel good about giving.

I've also ordered some other brands of jewelry teethers before I found Dr. Bloom, and although some of the other items had neat designs, they didn't do the job in regards to functionality.  Also, from what I hear, Dr. Bloom has quite a bit of new product lines and designs coming out.  It seems they are definetely a company on the up and up.
